The "Four Rings of the Future" have arrived!

What do you think of Audi's new two-dimensional black and white logo?

We're surprised to see Audi dropping chrome for updated brand identity!

The new logo was created to give vehicles a "more modern image," with a black background that contrasts with white rings for "even greater radiance." The two-tone appearance also promises to make the logo stand out from afar. Audi, surprisingly, is keeping the new logo "consistently free of chrome." This is a notable departure from Audi's traditional use of chrome logos.

Audi's four-ring logo dates back to Auto Union's early days, and it has been updated numerous times over the years. The most recent evolution of the badge largely went unnoticed when it debuted on the facelifted and renamed Q8 e-tron. Audi, on the other hand, is circling back and emphasising its new take on the classic logo.

In addition to the new logo, future models will use an exclusive font called Audi Type. "The basic tone is significantly more restrained without compromising distinctiveness or quality," designer André Georgi explains.
