Citroen reveals updated logo

Citroen's new logo, a two-dimensional rendering of the brand's chevrons inside an oval, is no doubt inspired by its past.

The new logo (shown on the Oli concept) is the 10th design in Citroen's 103-year history. It is most closely related to founder Andre Citroen's original 1919 design. Citroen said it will be a more prominent design element on all models beginning in the middle of 2023. Simultaneously, dealerships will receive a facelift, including a new corporate identity centred on the logo and two new "signature" colours - a "calming" Monte Carlo blue and an "energetic and distinctive" Infra-red.

We see that other brands, such as BMW, Renault, and Volkswagen, have also adopted simpler designs in recent years, making their new logos more social media friendly... Don't you think that all these new brand identities and logos signal a new, and energetic era to come?
