In a one-hour virtual event, Adobe executives and industry leaders such as Susan Bloomberg discussed the most important digital trends affecting businesses today as well as success strategies. The Adobe and eConsultancy Digital Trends Report, now in its 11th year, has become a trusted source for the insights that businesses require to develop effective digital strategies. Based on a survey of over 10,000 business leaders worldwide, it highlights the most influential trends, cutting-edge capabilities, ever-present challenges, and emerging issues. Shaquille O'Neal was also one of the industry leaders invited to speak at the event, and he shared stories about how things have changed since his youth.

The global pandemic altered relationships between customers and businesses, as well as between employees and employers. It compelled a reckoning – new requirements, new behaviors, and new expectations. While some businesses have survived the last few years using short-term hacks, the gap between the leaders and the laggards has widened. Customer expectations, according to 87 percent of senior executives, have been digitally rewired, and success is defined by a brand's ability to respond. This can be seen in how brands now conduct business: for example, 75 percent of companies report an increase in the use of digital channels by existing customers.

Several critical topics were addressed by the speakers during the event, including:

  • What evolving B2B customer experiences will look like.
  • How a cookie-less world will impact your ability to deliver high-impact customer experiences.
  • What tools and strategies your marketing team will need to respond at the speed of change and scale personalized customer experiences.
